Speakers
Britney & Zachary

Britney T-M first learned about the importance of decentralization through Bitcoin. Born and raised in Honolulu, the crucial balance between self-reliance and connectivity for island communities was of foremost importance as she volunteered in natural disaster response and worked as a workplace safety consultant. Currently, Britney works as an elderly caregiver as she builds Bitcoin and Nostr onboarding and educational resources for Hawai'i.

Zachary has been in the Decentralized Web and startup space for the past decade, from early protocol startups to formal verification of early MakerDAO. He has been a contributor to Decentralized Identifier (DID) specification, and participant of the Rebooting Web of Trust. Zachary hopes that the use of applied cryptography can be used to protect user data and privacy, enhance trust on- and off-line, and create greater integrity in information.
