A four-week long hackathon-inspired competition designed to engage the local community in modernizing state functions, processes, and services while supporting technology workforce and economic development for community as a whole. HACC encourages interaction between community teams and State of Hawaii department personnel, ultimately resulting in sustainable solutions to modernize state government and benefit the community. Four events over three weeks as a competition around technology development by the community - kick-off day, two interim workshops, judging/awards day.
