Speaker
Lock Lynch
Lock has been hammering away on stuff in the local music scene for a while. Many an event, show, concert, album, band, and musical later, and he's still at it. Helping people who want help with audio for any and all things related to music. Some friends wrangled him into the global tech scene, and it looks like there's some opportunities for local music cats to find out about how these new internet ideas can be utilized. Lock's goal has always been to fight back against the brain drain here in Hawai'i and help musicians who wanna stay here and make whatever weird stuff they like. Oh yeah, he's won a bunch of awards and taught collegically, too, but prefers letting the music speak for itself.
Topic
The current model for getting your music monetized online is complicated. We propose a solution. Taking the complicated parts that suck and throwing them out. Then taking the complicated parts that matter and doing it all with everyone/anyone’s computers instead of just the Industry people’s computers. Some parts still might be a little complicated, but here's a walkthrough of the important parts!
