Business Fundamentals and Social Entrepreneurship

  • 2438 Beretania St Honolulu, HI (map)

At the Purple Prize, we don’t believe there’s a set formula for starting a successful tech startup, but we do know there are certain skills you need to have to have a chance to create one.

We also believe that businesses should not be solely concerned with maximizing financial profit. They should be social enterprisescommitted to generating value for the communities and ecosystems in which they exist.

Join Purple Prize teams on Saturday, April 27 for a free, intensive workshop on Business Fundamentals and Social Entrepreneurship where experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals share their manaʻo on topics including:

  • strategic planning

  • customer discovery

  • business law

  • financial accounting

  • fundraising

  • and more

In addition to valuable learning opportunities, there will also be opportunities to network, socialize, and connect with others in the business and innovation communities. Refreshments, lunch, and pupus for pau hana will be provided!

Hope to see you there!
