The BitDevs Socratic Seminar series is an event where developers discuss a brief overview of salient industry news and the latest advancements in Bitcoin development. Join us on Wednesday July 14, 2021 at the Entrepreneur's Sandbox!

This event will start with a lecture on Bitcoin basics before discussing the topics from the BitDevs reading lists. We will be using the Austin BitDevs reading list so it is recommended that attendees read the last two months beforehand if they can. Any attendee who has expert knowledge or questions about these topics are encouraged to speak during the event.
BitDevs is a community for those interested in discussing and participating in the research and development of Bitcoin and related protocols. You can be well versed with or new to the topics, all are welcome. Be advised: discussion will be technical.

This event is mainly about learning about the latest and up and coming advancements in Bitcoin development. It is not a discussion about price, trading, or altcoins.
About the speaker:
Warren Togami was born and raised in Honolulu. BS Computer Science and MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Linux and Open Source Software development since 2000, Bitcoin developer since 2013. Now he's VP Solutions at the Bitcoin technology company Blockstream.
